Help your family be ready for anything.

The Get Ready campaign begins today, sponsored by the APHA. This day is designed to get communities involved in preparing themselves for possible hazardous illnesses, including pandemic flu and other infectious diseases that may just be emerging. Research some facts about illnesses such as the flu and ways you and your family can protect yourselves. Talk to your kids about hand washing. Learn more about pandemics. Play some games with the kids to teach them ways they can stay safe. It's always good for us to be aware of health risks that can affect our families, so be informed.
