Demonstrate better relationships by planning special outings.

It's important to teach children relationship building skills. We often get lost in the act of being parents and forget that we are individuals who need time with other individuals. Plan a weekly date night or girls' night out. By doing so, we remind our children that they aren't the universe's center and we need to build relationships. Choose a movie with your spouse, or a walk in the park with a friend. When we take care of our relationships, we show our children the importance of building theirs (even if romantic ones may not begin until much later).
